Description
The SUSE Linux Update Infrastructure is a content distribution network used by the MCP platform whereby clients can get updates for SUSE Linux Enterprise Servers.
Content / Solution:
As a SUSE Certified Cloud Provider, the Managed Cloud Platform has a global infrastructure in place that allows clients to pull software and updates for their SUSE Linux Enterprise Servers. The Content Distribution Servers (CDS) can be found in the North America, Europe, South Africa, Australia and Asia/Pacific regions, providing "geographically close" endpoints for downloading official SUSE packages.
In addition to this global infrastructure, several channels have been added to the base OS channel, giving clients a wider selection of software to utilize on their SUSE servers. The channels clients will have access to include:
