Description

This article describes how to enable and disable Server to VIP connectivity in a MCP 1.0 Data Center location.

Prerequisites:

  1. Only the Primary Administrator or a user with the Network role can manage Server to VIP connectivity. 

Content / Solution:

  1. From the Home page, select the MCP 1.0 Data Center where the Network on which you'd like to manage Server to VIP Connectivity is located:


  2. The Data Center dashboard will be displayed. Select the Network on which you want to manage Server to VIP connectivity:


  3. The Network dashboard will be displayed. Click on the Public IPv4 Addresses and NAT Rules tab:


  4. The Public IPv4 Addresses and NAT Rules tab will be displayed:

Enable Server to VIP Connectivity

  1. Click on the manage gear next to the Public IPv4 Address block on which you want to enable Server to VIP connectivity, then select Enable Server to VIP Connectivity from the dropdown menu:


  2. The system will display the Enable Server to VIP Connectivity dialog. Click Confirm:

    Note: You can only have Server to VIP Connectivity enabled on 20 IP Blocks at any given time.

  3. The system will enable Server to VIP Connectivity for the IP Block and the UI will be updated to reflect the change:

Disable Server to VIP Connectivity

  1. Click on the manage gear next to the Public IPv4 Address block on which you want to disable Server to VIP connectivity, then select Disable Server to VIP Connectivity from the dropdown menu:


  2. The system will display the Disable Server to VIP Connectivity dialog. Click Confirm:


  3. The system will disable Server to VIP Connectivity and the UI will be updated to reflect the change:
