This article describes how to delete Re-IP Address Rules for a Target Server in a DRS Consistency Group Server Pair


  1. The User has the 'DRS' or 'Primary Administrator' role
  2. The Consistency Group must be in a NORMAL state
  3. The Server Pair must be in a NORMAL state.
  4. The Server Pair must have RE-IP Address rules defined.
  5. The Data Center must not be in DRS maintenance mode.

Content / Solution:

  1. Click on the DRS for Cloud menu button and then select DRS Consistency Groups to navigate to the DRS Consistency Groups page:

  2. The DRS Consistency Groups dashboard will be displayed. Expand the Consistency Group by clicking on the  drop-down icon:

  3. Locate the Server pair for which you would like to disable Re-IP Address Rules. Click on the Actions menu and select NIC Configuration from the drop-down menu:

  4. The NIC Configuration dialog will be displayed. Verify that you have selected the correct Server Pair, then Click the Enable Re-IP button in the top right-hand side of the screen:

  5. The dialog will display a warning. Click Save:

  6. The system will display the Delete Re-IP Address Rules for Target Server dialog. Click Delete:

  7. The system will display a message indicating that the operation is in progress:

  8. The Re-IP Address Rule will be deleted:

    Note. The absence of the  Re-IP Address Rule icon indicates that the Re-IP Address Rule has been deleted.
