Description
This article describes how to enter the Auto Scaling Manager
Prerequisites:
- Cloud Monitoring must be enabled in the Data Center. See: How do I Identify Hardware Specifications and Capabilities Available in a Data Center Location
- At least one Cloud Server in the Geographic region must be enabled for Cloud Monitoring. See:
- We strongly recommend you create a separate Sub-Administrator account with "Network" and "Server" roles to manage all of the Auto Scaling functions. See:
Content / Solution:
Click on the Compute button, and select Support and Additional URLs from the drop-down menu:
The Support and Additional URLs dashboard will be displayed. Monitoring links are on the right side of the screen:

Click on the Link for the Geographic Region for which you want to enter the Monitoring Portal (in this case North America). The system will open a new browser and you'll be directed to the Monitoring log in screen:
Sign in to the Monitoring portal using your Cloud credentials:
Account - Enter your Cloud UI Username
- Password - Enter your Cloud UI Password
- Note: At least one Cloud Sever must be enabled for Monitoring in order to access the Monitoring portal. See How to Enable Cloud Monitoring for a Server

The Cloud Monitoring "Dashboards" page will be displayed:
Click the Auto Scaling tab on the upper portion of the screen:
The "What Is Auto Scaling?" page will be displayed:
Note: Click on the
links to see an overview of each functionClick on the Get Started button to access the Auto Scaling Manager:
The Validate Credentials Page will be displayed:
Note: Enter your Cloud Username and Password
Click the Validate Credential button:
Note: This step is only required the first time you log in to the system with a set of credentials unless you:
Click on the Show Credential link, located in the upper right-hand side of the screen:
The Auto Scaling Credential box will be displayed. Click on the Edit Credential link:
The Validate Credentials Page will be displayed, as in Step 8. You can now enter a different set of credentials.
The Auto Scaling Manager will be displayed:
